XMENTOR -- Kelly Marie Flanagan and Kyle David Hersh, both of 1782 Longwood Drive, Mayfield Heights, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at LaMalfa Center, where a reception was held afterward.
The Rev. Thomas Long presided at the wedding for the daughter of Ronald and Carol Flanagan, 1706 Lucretia Drive, Girard, and the son of Sam and Sue Hersh, 13550 Braeburn Lane, Novelty.
The couple have postponed their cruise to the western Caribbean until late October and live at the Mayfield Heights address.
The bride's strapless, A-line gown of white satin featured an embroidered bodice and train.
Wearing navy gowns were Megan Strok of Cleveland, the honor attendant; the bridesmaids, Ericka Hersh of Boston, a sister of the groom, and Kristen Seifert of Columbus; and the junior bridesmaid, Elizabeth Svarny of Girard, the bride's cousin. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Deirdre Flanagan of Las Vegas.
Will Davis of Phoenix served as best man, and groomsmen were Jonathan Svarny of Girard, the bride's cousin, and Abram Schwarz of Columbus, a cousin of the groom.
A graduate of John Carroll University in University Heights, the bride holds a degree in electrical engineering and is employed by McHenry and Associates in Beachwood as an electrical design engineer.
The groom, a marketing coordinator with Beachwood Place Management in Beachwood, graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus.
