XSTRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Pat E. Gallo of 518 W. Wilson St. were honored Sept. 26 at a dinner party at Bruno's Restaurant in Poland on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Patricia Gallo of Boardman, Sandra and Doug Nelson of Red Wing, Minn., and Frank and Debbie Gallo of Struthers. Three grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Gallo and the former Barbara L. Halleck were married Sept. 26, 1953, at Sts. Cyril & amp; Methodius Church in Youngstown.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with the Singer Sewing Machine Co., then was self-employed for many years in the sewing-machine repair business until retiring. He belongs to the Italian-American War Veterans.
Mrs. Gallo was employed by the Aeroquip Corp. in Youngstown and is a homemaker. She is a member of the Struthers 500 Card Club.
The Gallos belong to St. Nicholas Church.
