PREP SOCCER West Branch keeps rolling along, beats McKinley, 9-1

Brittny Humphrey scored all five of Liberty's goals in a 6-5 loss to Lakeview.
CANTON -- Paige Stryfeller had three goals and Anina Beegle added two goals and an assist as the West Branch High girls soccer team beat Canton McKinley, 9-1, Monday to stay undefeated.
Niki Brown scored two goals and Ashley Kurena and Cassi Snoddy each added one for the Warriors (9-0-3).
Carlie Poffenberger had 11 saves.
Boardman 4, Champion 1
CHAMPION -- Brittany Sirak scored twice while Lauren Sirak and Mallory Hay each added a goal for the Spartans (6-1-2).
Boardman took more shots, 29-8, and led 2-1 at the half. Carlie Dawson scored for the Flashes.
Green 3, Fitch 2
GREEN -- Shayna McDermitt had a goal and an assist for Green, which took a 2-0 halftime lead.
Nikki Oakes and Amanda Dempsey also scored for the Bulldogs (8-2-1), while Amy Collett had 15 saves.
Danielle Storey and Jodi Bowlen scored for Fitch (6-3-2), which out-shot Green 23-19. Kelly Croysdale and Sarah Emrich added assists for the Falcons, while Kristi Brendlinger had nine saves.
Howland 9, Salem 1
HOWLAND -- Sarah Mangiarelli and Melissa Kohn each scored two goals for Howland in a Metro Athletic Conference game.
In with one goal apiece were Barbie Lewis, Alissa Thomas, Amy Cornicelli, Erin Gilmour and Chalsea Palma.
Howland (7-2, 6-0) jumped ahead 7-0 at the half.
Zahra Scullion scored for the Quakers (1-6-2, 1-4-1 MAC).
Poland 5, Niles 0
POLAND -- Britt Davis had a goal and an assist and Colleen Moran added two assists for Poland in a MAC game.
Krista Ginnetti, Jessie Toth, Sarah Anderson and Emily Sutcliffe also scored goals for the Bulldogs (7-1-2, 5-1 MAC). Landry Yankle had six saves and recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
Kelsey Mikesell had five saves for Niles (5-5, 2-4).
Badger 6, Maplewood 0
KINSMAN -- Shannon Sudon had two goals and Hannah Miller had a goal and two assists for Badger (8-2-1, 4-0) in a Northeast Athletic Conference game.
Tessa Bonar had a goal and an assist and Cayla Arnold and Jamie Polk also scored for Badger. Liz Smith added four saves.
Maplewood dropped to 2-6.
Lakeview 6, Liberty 5
LIBERTY -- Sarah Christner and Brittany Morello scored two goals apiece for Lakeview.
Brittny Humphrey scored all five goals for Liberty.
Christner also had three assists for the Bulldogs. Jen Baker added a goal and an assist. Margueretta Karousis also scored a goal and Stephanie Halko and Kasey Baker had assists.
Canfield 3, Alliance 0
ALLIANCE -- Danielle Terreri, Tia Norris and Breanne Democko scored goals for Canfield. Whitney Zunic and Gina Ross had assists.
Boys
COLUMBIANA -- Barry Kimpel had four goals and Jeff Harold and Eric Ostrander had one each, as Columbiana defeated Mathews 6-0.
Eric Birnesser and Ostrander had two assists apiece and Kimpel had one.
Kimpel has the most goals among Division III players in Ohio, according to Ohiosoccerstats.com, with 25. Birnesser is tied for seventh with 22 goals.
David Cramer made 13 saves for the Clippers.
