MARGARET ELLISERIC OWENS
XCOLUMBUS -- Margaret Jean Ellis, 1155 Edgehill Road, became the bride of Eric Paul Owens, 192 Clinton St., during a ceremony Aug. 16 at Serenity Park, Ascension Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Ron Huff officiated at the 4:30 p.m. service for the daughter of Margaret and Andy Ellis, 1911 Stepney St., Niles, and the son of Tracy Owens, N2639 County Road, Dousman, Wis., and the late Gary Owens.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception held at Haimerl Center of the church, then left for a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. They live at 883 Minerva Ave.
Satin-covered buttons detailed the low V-back of the bride's floor-length, sleeveless gown styled with a pearl-edged round neckline.
Mrs. Owens graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of fine arts degree and attended the University of Akron. She is studying polarity therapy at Columbus Polarity Institute. The bride is an art specialist with Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
Mr. Owens is a graphic designer at Dixie International Co. He is attending Columbus State Community College.
Linda Ellis Moore of Columbus, the bride's sister, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Mary Lou Sipusic of Cortland and Nancy Demerdash of New Berlin, Wis., the bride's cousin. They wore periwinkle dresses.
Paul Cook of Columbus served as best man. Groomsmen were David Owens and Gary Owens, both of Columbus, the groom's brothers
