KRISTI NAPLESDONALD KOLLAR JR.
XBOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 15 as Kristi Leigh Naples and Donald Martin Kollar Jr., both of 22 E. Oakland Blvd., Struthers, were united in marriage at St. Luke Church.
The Rev. Joseph Fata presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Rick M. and Patricia Ann Naples, 112 Perry St., Struthers, and the son of Donald Martin Sr. and Marla Kollar, 2476 W. Manor Ave., Poland.
After a reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers, the couple left on a wedding trip to New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and the Pocono Mountains. They live at the Oakland Boulevard address.
The bride wore a white matte satin A-line gown enhanced with pearls and lace and featuring a chapel train.
Lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant Valerie Voytilla, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Naples, a sister of the bride; Jennifer Alexander, the groom's cousin; and Lindsay Kollar, his sister. Flower girl was the bride's daughter, Hope Naples.
Matthew Thomas performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Bradley Kollar and Jeremey Kollar, brothers of the groom, and Matthew Alexander, his cousin. Ring bearer was Jared DeGitz.
The bride and groom are pursuing degrees in criminal justice at Youngstown State University where she is a student worker. He is a dispatcher/police officer with the Struthers Police Department.
