DOREEN SALZANONORMAN DUNLAP JR.
XLAS VEGAS -- Doreen Lynn Salzano and Norman "Duke" Dunlap Jr., both of 124 E. High St., Middletown, Pa., were married during a ceremony at 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at Graceland Wedding Chapel. An Elvis impersonator officiated at the service.
The groom is a son of Ruth Dunlap of 100 Snyder Ave., Struthers.
The bride wore a white damask tea-length gown featuring a tulle underskirt and bodice with spaghetti straps.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a postnuptial reception at St. John the Baptist Church social hall in Campbell. They honeymooned in Las Vegas and live in Middletown.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J., with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science, Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a master's degree in telecommunications and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with a master's degree in business administration. She is the director of device systems engineering at Verizon Wireless in Warren, N.J.
The groom served in the U.S. Navy for six years and was stationed aboard the USS Will Rogers. He is a senior nuclear-electrical technician at Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant in Middletown.
