Summary of recent police activity in Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD CITY
Oct. 17
Property theft: A car's compact-disc player/ stereo was stolen from a vehicle at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 North Palmyra Road.
AUSTINTOWN
Oct. 12
Burglary: $400 in cash was taken from a residence in the 5000 block of Baker Street.
Oct. 13
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the residential 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.
Criminal damage: A vehicle door lock was pulled and a wallet stolen in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was scratched in the residential 1000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.
Abandoned vehicle: A 1980 Oldsmobile 98 was found in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Abandoned vehicle: A 1986 Ford was found in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A checkbook was reported stolen at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: An Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Fox Run Commons, 1196 North Meridian Road.
Aggravated burglary: No items were reported missing after a break-in at a residence in the 60 block of Kenmar Court.

Theft: Several items were taken from a residence in the 300 block of Edinburgh Drive.
Theft: A washer and dryer were taken from a residence in the 50 block of Parkgate Avenue.
Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damage:
A vehicle was damaged in the 100 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: Money was taken from a night deposit bag in the 400 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft from auto: A compact-disc/AM-FM stereo was taken from a vehicle in the 100 bock of Idlewood Avenue.
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player/AM-FM stereo were taken from a vehicle in the 50 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Theft: A "for sale" sign was stolen from the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A checkbook and driver's license were taken at Dollar General, 1733 South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A handbag was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Alfredo's, 1651 South Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: An unknown amount of equipment was taken from Power Tool & amp; Supply, 3699 LeHarps Road.
Theft: Money was taken from a night deposit bag at Sherwin Williams, 5880 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 16
Theft from auto: A compact disc and amplifier were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft from auto: Shoes were stolen from a trailer at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: A purse was stolen from Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Avenue.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A front license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Oct. 17
Theft from auto: A car stereo and speakers were stolen from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's tires were cut and the paint damaged in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.
Forgery: A man is accused in a forgery reported in the residential 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Theft from auto: A billfold with a debit card and credit cards was stolen from a vehicle on South Raccoon Road or Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Cigarettes were taken by a man at Smoker Friendly, 1643 South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Furniture was taken from Blake's Storage, 2024 South Raccoon Road.
Oct. 18
Drug offense: A man was charged with drug abuse for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 11.
Drug offense: A man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at South Raccoon Road and New Road.
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the 200 block of Bainbridge Street.
Theft: Meat was stolen from Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road by an unknown suspect.
Auto theft: A 1990 Buick LeSabre was stolen from the 100 block of Compass West.
Theft: A man is accused in taking $200 in $5 and $10 bills at Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Avenue.
Oct. 19
Theft from auto: Stereo equipment was stolen and damage to the dashboard and window were reported in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Theft: Three coats were reported stolen from J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Six cartons of cigarettes were stolen from Smoker Friendly, 1643 South Raccoon Road.
Aggravated Burglary: A woman entered a residence in the 4000 block of New Road and assaulted the victim.
