XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held Sept. 6 in the grand ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium to honor Jeffrey Matthew Sesplankis and his bride, the former Jill Marie Culcasi, both of 1215 W. 10th St., Cleveland, after their wedding at St. Columba Cathedral.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye presided at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of James and Patricia Culcasi, 8141 Burgess Lake Drive, Poland, and the son of Carolyn and Sigmund Sesplankis, 17713 Glenshire Ave., Cleveland.
The bodice of the bride's strapless, white trapunto gown was enhanced with Swarovski crystal detailing, and the ballgown skirt of duchess satin swept into a cathedral train.
Iris-blue and lilac gowns were worn by Megan Malone, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Mary Barrett, sister of the groom; Laura Bigler; Colleen Brandt; Coralee Kleinhenz; Allyson Kosik; and Jeannie Miller. Junior bridesmaid was Jaclynn Mullally, and flower girl was Jennifer Mullally, cousins of the bride.
Andrew Henton served as best man, and groomsmen were Thomas Bertsch, Joseph Bigler, Dr. John McGinty, John Richardson, Dr. John Samol and Ryan Tyson.
The bride and groom graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor's degrees in business administration-accountancy and are certified public accountants. She is a risk reviewer with Keycorp, and he is an audit manager with Ernst and Young LLP, both in Cleveland.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and live in Avon.
