High school highlights: Played football and basketball for four years at Cardinal Mooney, earning two letters in each. Was named second team All-Steel Valley Conference in football as a senior. In his senior season, he had 12 catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns; he also recorded four sacks and recovered three fumbles.
