XAUSTINTOWN -- Vows were exchanged during a 2 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 25 as Melissa M. Danvir of Canfield and Nicholas J. Bartholomew of Boardman were united in marriage at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Stephen Popovich, and the couple were honored afterward during a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The daughter of Marie Danvir of Canfield and Rodger Danvir of Austintown and son of Lynn and Donna Bartholomew of Columbiana honeymooned at Cancun, Mexico, and live in Jefferson Hills, Pa.
The bride's strapless A-line candlelight satin gown was adorned with crystals.
Cranberry-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Stacie Tackett, and the bridesmaids, Sara Herman; Kasey O'Horo; Jennifer Bartholomew, the groom's sister; Sue Maloney; Sarah Youst; and Michelle Tomko. Flower girls were Tessa Holka, the bride's cousin; and Kylie Youst.
David Halverstadt II was the best man, and groomsmen were Jason Marvin; Jason Youst; Nick Blanche, the groom's cousin; John Gocala; Todd Danvir, a brother of the bride; and John Rezak, her cousin. The ring bearer was Dylan Herman.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in education and his in accounting. He is an operations manager with Best Buy at Bethel Park, Pa.
