BOARDMAN -- Debutantes will be presented at the 48th annual Cinderella Ball planned for Nov. 28 by the Junior League of Youngstown.
Featuring the theme "An Elegant Evening of Enchantment," the event will get under way at 5:30 p.m. at Mr. Anthony's, 7440 South Ave.

Miss Cinderella will be selected by popular ballot. Voting will take place from 5 to 7. A buffet dinner will be served after the presentation of debutantes and their escorts.
Tickets are $30 and may be obtained from debutantes, league members or online at www.juniorcivicleague.org. Ticket deadline is Nov. 27.
Proceeds from the Cinderella Ball will go to the league's scholarship fund and its Adopt a School Program. Since its inception in the spring of 1952, the league has awarded more than $380,000 in scholarships to black students in the Youngstown area.
