KRISTINE PAYNEVICTOR CRUZ
XCAMPBELL -- St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church was the setting at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 11 for the wedding of Kristine Marie Payne and Victor Daniel Cruz.
Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Veronica Payne, 3453 Ambert Ave., Youngstown, and Victor and Mary Cruz, 5633 Oak St. Ext., Lowellville.
Monsignor Victor Romza officiated, and a reception followed in the church social hall. After a honeymoon to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple live at 7125 Locust Ave., Youngstown.
The bride's sleeveless gown was designed with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with pearls, sequins and beads. The full satin skirt was enhanced with lace and beads and fell to a cathedral train.
Maid of honor was JoAnna Taormina, and Amanda Serra was matron of honor. They wore navy-blue gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Sandra Gaitanis, Nedra Cruz, Rachel Tabaka and Renee Braziel. Flower girls were Tori and Giana Sera and Samantha Gaitanis.
Michael Cruz and Carlos Serra were best men, and groomsmen were Bryan Gaitanis, Steve Zori, Steve Reynolds and Christopher Naughton. Ring bearer was Brandon Gaitanis, and ushers were Kenneth Payne Jr., Luke Liguare and Michael Lonardo.
Mrs. Cruz attended Youngstown State University and is patient coordinator at NYDIC Open MRI in Boardman.
Her husband holds a degree in hospitality management from YSU and is assistant executive housekeeping manager at the Marriott Hotel in Cranberry, Pa.
