SALEM -- The Rayen School boys track and field team finished fourth at Friday's Division II district meet at Reilly Stadium, sending numerous athletes to the regional meet.
The Tigers' 4x400 relay of Marcel Finkley, Marquis Lindsey, Elbert Schuler and Leon Brock finished first in 3 minutes, 32.57 seconds.
Rayen was second in the 4x100 relay (45.16), run by Andre Miller, Dorian Townsend, Demond Taylor and Brock.
Aaron Thomas was second in the discus (141-6), while Brock was fourth in the high jump (5-8). Townsend advanced to the regional by placing fourth in the 100 (11.5) and 200 (23.91). Thunderstorms delayed the final results until after press time on Friday.
