ELIZABETH ARDALERAYMOND CARNEY JR.
XGIRARD -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 3:30 p.m. May 24 as Elizabeth Virginia Ardale, 3430 Avalon Drive, Shaker Heights, and Raymond R. Carney Jr., 3614 Tyler Drive, Canfield, were married at Girard First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Douglas Meek and Monsignor William Connell presided at the ceremony, and a reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The daughter of Edward and Susan Ardale, 6420 Stoney Ridge Drive, Austintown, and son of Raymond and Rebecca Carney of the Canfield address, left on a wedding trip to St. Lucia and will live in South Bend, Ind.
The bride's ivory French silk A-line gown was enhanced with crystal beading and flowers.
Wedgewood blue gowns were worn by her sister and honor attendant, Erin Ardale, and the bridesmaids, Stephanie Frazzini, Megan Cronewett, Brehan Miller, Julie Ridgeway, and the groom's sister, Molly Carney. Flower girl was his cousin, Kellie Walker.
Serving as best man was Rory Carney, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Nick Hellman, Joseph Cerni, Dominic Italiano, Steve Eshenbaugh and Mark Annichine. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Clayton Walker.
The bride graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware with a bachelor's degree in political science/women's studies. She is a family planning counselor with Preterm in Cleveland.
The groom graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland and will pursue a master's in business at the University of Notre Dame.
