XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Mrs. Maria Remner, 102 Maplewood Drive, is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Christine Marie Remner of the same address, and Marshall Rupert of New Springfield, a son of Harold Rupert, 4251 W. Candy Apple Court, and the late Shirley Rupert.
Miss Remner, also a daughter of the late Thomas Remner, is a territory manager with Cargill Inc. of North Olmsted. She holds a bachelor's degree in speech communication and business administration from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea and a master's in business administration from Cleveland State University.
Mr. Rupert graduated from Choffin Career Center in Youngstown and is a CNC machinist with Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine Co. in Hermitage, Pa.
The couple will issue invitations for the wedding they have planned for 3 p.m. May 31 at Greenford Christian Church and for their evening reception at The Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
