GIRARD -- "Fashions in Bloom" is the theme chosen for a fashion show to be sponsored by the Junior Women's Club of Girard to raise funds for community service projects.
Scheduled for 1 p.m. April 6 at McMenamy's in Niles, the show will feature clothing and accessories.
The sale of tickets for a Chinese auction to be held in conjunction with the event will begin when doors open at noon.
Tickets for the fashion show are $20 and include a luncheon. They may be purchased at Judy Lee's Beauty Salon and at Imperial Shoes and Boutique, or by calling (330) 539-4580.
Barbara Lewis and Diane Alejars are in charge of the project. Their committee members are Kitty Diamond, Helen Lambert, Theresa Grimes, Norma Mancini, Terry Franty, Cheryl Williams, Colette Chuey, Marilyn Kobal, Karen McClurkin, Chris McKenna, Kathy Blackstone, Rene & eacute; Esposito and Jane Harris.
