NEW YORK -- Viktor Kozlov scored two goals and Roberto Luongo made 40 saves to lead Florida. Sandy McCarthy scored the New York goal. Kozlov snapped a 1-1 tie on the power play at 3:32 of the third period.
Capitals 2, Flyers 1, OT
WASHINGTON -- Peter Bondra scored a power-play goal 21 seconds into overtime. Robert Lang's power-play goal with 12:51 remaining in regulation tied it for Washington. The Capitals have earned at least one point in eight straight games (5-0-1-2). It was the first time this season that Philadelphia lost when taking a lead into the third period (22-1-3).
Canadiens 3, Predators 1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Donald Audette scored two goals and Jose Theodore stopped 37 shots and had an assist as Montreal snapped a nine-game winless skid. The loss snapped an eight-game unbeaten streak at home for the Predators. Doug Gilmour scored at 4:51, and Audette made it 2-0 just 8:47 in. Oleg Petrov ended the shutout at 8:41 of the third with his first goal since being traded by Montreal to the Predators.
Maple Leafs 3, Oilers 2
EDMONTON, Alberta -- Mats Sundin registered his 1,000th career point in Toronto's victory. Alexander Mogilny and Tomas Kaberle also scored 38 seconds apart early in the third period for the Maple Leafs. Ryan Smyth and Mike Comrie scored for Edmonton.
Red Wings 3, Kings 2
LOS ANGELES -- Kris Draper, Nicklas Lidstrom and rookie Henrik Zetterberg scored as Detroit held off Los Angeles' third-period rally. The red Wings scored on three of their first 11 shots against Jamir Storr, who was benched midway through the second period.
Avalanche 2, Coyotes 2
DENVER -- Colorado's Peter Forsberg scored for the third time in two games. Phoenix, 8-3-2 its last 13 games, scored twice in the third period. Forsberg's goal extended his point streak to nine games.
