HARTFORD, Conn. -- Jessica Moore scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds as top-ranked Connecticut closed out back-to-back unbeaten regular seasons. The Huskies (29-0, 16-0 Big East) extended the nation's longest winning streak to 68 games and are 20 wins shy of tying the men's NCAA record of 88 straight set by UCLA from 1971-74. Diana Taurasi finished with 20 points for UConn. She and Ashley Battle each had eight rebounds. Kate Bulger led the Mountaineers (15-12, 4-12) with 25 points and Michelle Carter added 12. Teammate Eartha White had a team-high 10 rebounds.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Clare Droesch scored 17 points and Amber Jacobs added 12 to lead Boston College. Jacobs pulled in a long pass with 6 seconds left and scored on a layup to give Boston College (20-7, 12-4 Big East) a 72-68 lead. Cappie Pondexter, who finished with 17 points for Rutgers (20-6, 13-3), hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the final score. Rutgers had an 11-game winning streak snapped. Mauri Horton had a team-high 18 points for Rutgers.
No. 20 Villanova 83, Providence 48
VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Katie Davis scored 26 points and Trish Juhline added 22 as Villanova (22-5, 12-4) earned the third seed in the upcoming Big East tournament. Providence (9-18, 3-13) will not participate in the Big East tournament, as Pitt earned the final spot with a win over Seton Hall. Jessica Simmonds led Providence with 20 points and Quiana Copeland added 17.
