OTTAWA -- Radek Bonk, Mike Fisher, Karel Rachunek and Wade Redden scored power-play goals as Ottawa took full advantage of Toronto's lack of discipline in a fight-filled victory. The Maple Leafs were given a total of 24 penalties totaling 111 minutes in the game. Ottawa drew 12 penalties.

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Brian Rolston had a goal and two assists as Boston snapped its season-worst nine-game winless streak. Boston is clinging to the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Capitals 2, Sabres 1
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jeff Halpern scored twice as Washington beat Buffalo. Olaf Kolzig -- making his eighth straight start -- stopped 35 shots to help the Capitals improve to a season-best seven games over .500 (32-25-7-4). Ales Kotalik scored for Buffalo, which lost its second straight.

UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Martin St. Louis scored his team-leading 30th goal as part of Tampa Bay's three-goal first period and the Lightning extended its winning streak to four. Brad Richards and Vincent Lecavalier also scored for Tampa Bay.

PHILADELPHIA -- Michal Handzus and Donald Brashear scored less than three minutes in and Roman Cechmanek had 41 saves, leading Philadelphia past Vancouver.
Blues 2, Predators 1
ST. LOUIS -- Justin Papineau scored 1:45 into overtime to lift St. Louis over Nashville. Scott Hartnell scored his ninth at 6:15 of the first period to give the Predators a 1-0 lead.
Wild 3, Devils 2
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Willie Mitchell's deflected goal late in the third period lifted Minnesota to its first-ever win against New Jersey. John Madden and Jeff Friesen scored for New Jersey.
Mighty Ducks 2, Kings 1
LOS ANGELES -- Samuel Pahlsson scored with 2:44 left as Anaheim put a crimp into Los Angeles' playoff hopes. The Kings slipped into a tie for 11th place in the Western Conference.
Oilers 2, Sharks 1
EDMONTON, Alberta -- Todd Marchant broke a tie with 5:46 left as Edmonton snapped its nine-game winless streak (0-5-2-2). Ryan Smyth -- back in the lineup after missing nine games because of a shoulder injury -- scored in the first period and set up Marchant's winner.
