The Wolverines and Presidents won the men's and women's titles, respectively.
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Sophomore Nate Maurer scored two free throws with four seconds remaining, to help Grove City defeat Thiel College, 60-59, for the Presidents' Athletic Conference men's basketball championship Saturday.
Maurer shot 13-for-26 from the field for 29 points for the second-seeded Wolverines (18-8).
Tanner Prosser scored 11 points for Grove City, which won its fifth PAC men's basketball title and first since 1998-99.
A.H. Davis, a graduate of Boardman High School, scored 14 points for top-seeded Thiel (16-11), which led 36-29 at the half.
Wooster 93, Allegheny 71
WOOSTER -- Bryan Nelson scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Wooster won the North Coast Athletic Conference championship.
Nelson shot 4 of 7 from the field and made 10 of 10 free throws. Blake Mealer and Ryan Snyder each scored 17 points and Kyle Witucky added 11 points for the Fighting Scots (26-2).
Allegheny hit just one of their first nine field goal attempts and fell behind 14-5 early.
Wooster shot 70 percent from the field in the second half and hit 7 of 10 3-pointers to pull away from the Gators. Wooster finished the game shooting 60 percent and outrebounded Allegheny 40-23.
Nick Catanzarite led Allegheny (16-12) with 20 points. Tyrrell Smith scored 13 points and Billy Dungee added 10 points.
The loss was the 12th straight for Allegheny against Wooster.
Lock Haven 55, Slippery Rock 50
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Kevin DeVan scored 20 points for Lock Haven (10-16, 6-6).
Aaron Epps scored 11 points and Dave Freeman added 10 for the Rock (8-17, 2-10).
Women
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Amanda Stanonik came off the bench to score a career-high 23 points, as Washington & amp; Jefferson won the PAC title with a 72-63 decision over Grove City.
The Presidents (23-1) are ranked 25th in the nation and first in the Great Lakes Region.
W & amp;J has now won four PAC women's titles.
The game was tied at the half, 37-all.
Leigh LeGare and Christy Faller scored 16 and 14 points respectively for the Wolverines (12-14).
Slippery Rock 73, Lock Haven 60
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Missy McKavish scored 27 points to move into seventh place on the all-time scoring list for the Rock (9-17, 4-8).
Kristen Bonner scored 14 points and Erin Frankovich added 12 points for the Rock.
Anita Charles paced Lock Haven (7-18, 1-11) with 19 points.
