XYOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church provided the setting May 24 for the wedding of Teresa Lamanna, 70 Forest Hill Drive, Hubbard, and Michael Colapietro, 2189 Brookbank Drive, Columbus.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Nick and Rose Lamanna of the Hubbard address and the son of Michael and Ronda Colapietro, 1622 Palo Verde Drive, Poland.
The newlyweds received guests during a reception at the church hall, then left for a honeymoon on a southern Caribbean cruise. They live in Columbus.
Battenberg lace appliques adorned the bride's white satin halter gown and detachable train.
The groom's sister, Melissa Colapietro, was honor attendant. She wore a Victorian lilac dress, as did the bridesmaids, Celeste Lamanna, the bride's sister-in-law; Christine Dorma, her cousin; and Denise Krcelic, Lindsay Dean and Gina Tanazone. The bride's niece, Isabella Lamanna, was flower girl.
Jeffry Dean served as best man. Groomsmen were Joe and Frank Lamanna, the bride's brothers, and Jeffrey Shirila, David Geiger and Doug Kohl. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Brendan Lamanna.
Mrs. Colapietro graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. A registered nurse, she is a care manager at Columbus Children's Hospital.
Mr. Colapietro is the senior project manager at Progressive Auto in Columbus. He attended Ohio State University, Columbus.
