Tri-County soccer camp to start June 23

STRUTHERS -- Wim Vrosch, a professional soccer trainer of the Roda JC team of Holland, will conduct a clinic for youth at Tri-County Sports Complex on June 23-27.
Vrosch has played and coached on the professional level for 25 years with Sparta Rotterdam and Fortuna Sittard. Roda JC is third in the Dutch League standings behind Ajax FC.
The camp director is Tama Aondofar, the assistant men's soccer coach at the University of Dayton.
He served as the Nigerian National Staff Coach in 2001-2002 and played with the Tulsa Roughnecks in the USISL in 1997-98.
The focus of the camp will be to expose athletes to game-oriented exercises that will improve their technical abilities.
The camp staff will include professionals who have played in the US and abroad.
Tri-County, 276 State Street, has two full-sized outdoor soccer fields with World Cup goals and two indoor fields.
The camp will run from 5-8 p.m. daily at Tri-County. Participants can pay at the door and should bring a soccer ball, shin guards and a water bottle.
