BASEBALL
Babe Ruth (14-15s)
Line Drive -- competed in the Zanesville Babe Ruth Tournament, compiling a 3-0 record. Line Drive defeated Zanesville Nationals, 5-2, as David Patrick had two hits, including a double; Chester Kirkwood had two hits, and Armani Johnson was the winning pitcher. In a 7-6 win over New Lexington, Johnson doubled and singled, while Dom Silvestri doubled. Richie O'Brien and Mark Cartwright combined for the win. In a 14-2 win over Zanesville Kiwanis, Ryan Satterlee and Patrick both went 3-for-4 with doubles, and Brett Dutton and Joe Koch had two hits apiece.
Line Drive 6, Belleria Pizza 0 -- Ryan Satterlee went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while Brett Dutton and D.J. Ronci both singled twice. Armani Johnson doubled and singled. Richie O'Brien was the winning pitcher.
Tri-T Colt (15-17)
Struthers Davidson Becker 11, Boardman Boosters 4 -- Jim Matricardi, Dave Bowes, Mike Galletta and Dan McClure each had two hits to lead the Struthers offense. Brian Walton and Anthony Sahli each had a double for Struthers. Kyle Redding had two hits to lead Boardman.

B.B. Rooners 8, Maddogs 2 -- Ned Moore (Lakeview, Pa.) went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Jeff Hehr (Cardinal Mooney) added a pair of doubles and Donnie Morris (Titusville, Pa.) had two singles and two RBIs. Shane Scott (Lakeview, Pa.) also had two RBIs. Charles Miller (Mineral Ridge) was the winning pitcher, allowing six hits and two runs in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out two. Allen Hoover (Warren Kennedy) struck out two in 1 1/3 innings of relief. Rooners is 22-3.
SOFTBALL
Tri-T Pony (13-14)
Canfield Robert Senn Photography 4, Poland Vari-Wall 3 -- Canfield's Tricia Bettura and Rachel Melewski each had two hits, with Melewski getting the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh. For Poland, Sierra Urichich had two hits.
Canfield Robert Senn Photography 11, Struthers Clemente Funeral Home 1 -- Canfield's Kristen Stahl had two hits and scored twice. Tricia Bettura pitched the complete game, striking out 14 and giving up only one hit.
