BANKING
BOARDMAN -- First Place Bank has hired Robert M. Bayne as a registered representative licensed financial investment adviser, to be based at its Ravenna office. Bayne has more than 15 years' experience in the banking and financial industry and spent the past five years at Second National Bank Investment Center. He has a bachelor's degree in business management from Youngstown State University.
ENGINEERING
YOUNGSTOWN -- MS Consultants has added Randy M. Horton as its Internet application manager and Donald R. Lee as its MicroStation/ GeoPak manager. Horton came to the company from Project Space LLC in Raleigh, N.C., where he was senior application developer. Lee is studying for a bachelor's degree in engineering from Columbus State Community College. He came to MS from DLZ Corp. where he served as the software support professional and roadway design technician.
COMMUNICATIONS
YOUNGSTOWN -- Marcus Thomas LLC has promoted Tracy McCarty to business manager of its office in Youngstown and named Joanne Teets of Girard vice president of studio services in the firm's Cleveland office. McCarty joined the company in 1999 as an account planner, coming from Aaron-McCarty Marketing in Katonah, N.Y., where she was a partner. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and is a registered nurse. Teets joined the firm in 1979 as a designer, later becoming an art director, then studio manager. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
TRAINING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mya J. Fisher of Calcutta is a new career consultant in the Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association's Lisbon office. Fisher has a bachelor's degree in communication from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has previous work experience in career counseling and job placement. Sharlene Senediak has been hired as a greeter and receptionist at the agency's One-Stop office in Boardman. Senediak is also a Clarion University graduate with a degree in business administration.
