MARY HAUGMICHAEL AEY
XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- The marriage of Mary Alicia Haug, 6167 E. Middletown Road, and Michael Edward Aey, 1129 Cherry St., Jacksonville, Fla., was solemnized by the Rev. Nicholas Shori during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony June 14 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
A reception was held at the Maronite Center, Youngstown, to honor the daughter of Gary and Donna Haug of the Middletown Road address and the son of Michael and Linda Aey, 155 Como St., Struthers.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple live in Jacksonville.
The bride's strapless white A-line gown was trimmed with embroidery and featured a fitted bodice and chapel train.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Missy Aey, and the bridesmaids, Amy Haug, Gretchen Haug, Anne Spirko, Beth Chupak, Michelle Knestrick and Jaime Sell. Flower girl was Alexis Kotouch.
The duties of best man were shared by Bryan Gough and Rusty Mikulas, and groomsmen were Benjamin Haug, Jeff DeChellis, Ronnie DiBacco, Kevin Harvey and Bob Domico. Ring bearer was Alex Kotouch.
The bride and groom graduated from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa. She holds a degree in elementary education and was a fourth-grade teacher at Eagle Heights Academy, Youngstown, prior to her marriage. He earned a degree in English and is a plant superintendent with Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. in Jacksonville.
