The West Branch Local Board of Education met recently and:
Hired district resident Merrelyn Banks as assistant girls tennis coach at an annual salary of $2,310.
Approved Dr. Duane Kuentz of the Family Medical Center of Alliance as school physician.
Recognized several members of the transportation department for preparing district buses for state inspection. No bus defects were found during the inspection.
Recognized girls track coach Bob Altenhof for being named a Vindicator Coach of the Year, and team members Ashley Armstrong, Valerie Scott, McKenzie Wallace, Jennifer Weingart and Lisa Davies for being named Performers of the Year.
