XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. William D. Miller of 117 Jefferson St. celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a worship and praise service June 29 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, where they are members.
Mr. Miller and the former Elizabeth Brown were married July 2, 1943, at Fort George G. Meade, Md. He served in the armed forces during World War II and retired in 1980 from the Youngstown post office, where he was a letter carrier.
His wife retired in 1990 from the Youngstown City School District, where she was a librarian.
The couple have three children, Debra Lennon of Detroit, Ronald Miller of Youngstown and Donna Pickard of Phoenix. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren complete their family.
