MINIPAGE BILLBOARD
Sun
Sun in the morning
Moon in the night
Sun is the best
Because it is so bright
It wakes you up
It shines your day
I love you sun you made my day
LISA NAVARRO
Grade 3
Market St. Elementary
Night City
In the middle of the night.
Cars go by with big bright lights.
Trees are swaying.
Because of the silent wind.
The sky is dark blue.
The stars in the sky are like
Flashlights hanging from heaven.
AARON HUGHES
Grade 4
Mary Haddow Elementary

Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs lived long ago.
Yet some were fast. Some were slow.
Some were old.
Some were cold.
They all had scales
But all weren't males.
When the meteor hit the Earth,
Becoming extinct ended their birth.
NICK HLIVAK
Grade 4
Dobbins Elementary

X KIDS: Please don't write poems longer than 50 words. Be sure your teacher or a parent signs your entry so we know you thought it up yourself. We'll need that adult's address and phone number -- just for verification, not for publication. You must be 12 or under. Print your name, grade, school and address clearly on your poem. Send it to MiniPage Billboard, in care of The Vindicator.
