XYOUNGSTOWN -- Grace Ferguson, 2163 S. Schenley Ave., is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Laurie Sue Ferguson of the same address, and Anthony Frank Mordocco, 263 Moreland Drive, Canfield.
Parents of the future groom are Joseph Jr. and Lenora Mordocco, 5187 Canfield Road, Canfield.
Miss Ferguson, also a daughter of the late Thomas Ferguson, graduated from Youngstown State University and ETI Technical College of Niles. She holds an associate degree in applied business in legal assisting and is a paralegal in the law office of Charles L. Richards, Warren.
Mr. Mordocco completed a five-year apprenticeship electrical program and is an electrician with Progressive Electrical Contractors in Niles.
The couple have chosen 1 p.m. May 17 for their open wedding at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. They will issue invitations for their evening reception at Willow Creek, Girard.
