Pig Iron Press publishes book called 'American Dream'

Pig Iron Press of Youngstown has published a literary and social commentary anthology called "American Dream."
The 144-page book, edited by Jim Villani, features 74 writers and 18 artists from 30 states reflecting on the personal, social and political impact of the braodly imagined notion of a distinct personal and achievable American Dream.
The book has been in the making for 10 years, and the editors reviewed over 3,000 manuscripts and portfolios to select the included material. Associate editors were Beth Bateman Newborg of Pittsburgh and Sam Vargo of Salem.
"American Dream" is the 19th edition of the freelance authored "Pig Iron" series established in 1975. "American Dream" is the largest volume to date. It succeeds "Environment: Essence & amp; Issue," released in 1992. Forthcoming are "Classical Antiquity: The Contemporary Odyssey," due September 2003 and "Family, The Possibility of Endearment," due May, 2004.
