XSTRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Gerald David LaPaze, 233 W. Hopewell Drive, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 15 by renewing their marriage vows at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Boardman. A dinner followed in the church fellowship hall.
Mr. LaPaze and the former Helen Louise Baldea were married Feb. 14, 1953, at St. Nicholas Church. He served in the U.S. Army and is semiretired from the Ohio Turnpike Commission, where he is a toll collector at Exit 16A.
His wife is a homemaker.
The couple's family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Melanie LaPaze of Hubbard, and two granddaughters.
They have been members of Calvary Assembly for 25 years.
