KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Nina Norman scored 18 points and Texas coach Jody Conradt tied Tennessee's Pat Summitt for the most career victories in women's basketball as the Longhorns beat the Vols.
Jamie Carey added 14 points for the Longhorns (11-1), who struggled to a two-point lead at halftime but never relinquished the lead in the second half en route to their third straight win over the previously unbeaten Lady Vols (7-1).
Conradt tied Summitt with 828 career victories.
Reserve Tiffany Jackson had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Texas, which outrebounded Tennessee 42-27.
The Lady Vols were led by Ashley Robinson's 15 points.
No. 4 Duke 90, Hampton 59
LOS ANGELES -- Alana Beard scored 21 points and tied a career high with seven steals, leading Duke over Hampton in the opening game of the Loyola Marymount Marina Beach Classic.
The Blue Devils (8-1) have won eight games in a row after losing their season opener to Texas. They opened the second half with a 23-7 run to break it open and cruised to an easy victory.
Brittany Hunter, playing in her first game for Duke since knee surgery in November, scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Sharema Dean led Hampton (1-7) with 16 points.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Lindsey Whalen scored 18 points to lead Minnesota past Georgia State in the first round of the Cavalier Classic.
Shannon Schonrock added 15 points, hitting four 3-pointers, Kadidja Andersson scored 14 points and Jamie Broback had 13 for the Golden Gophers (9-0).
Minnesota will play Virginia on Monday night in the championship game.
Patechia Hartman led the Panthers (4-3) with 17 points.

BOULDER, Colo. -- Tera Bjorklund had 16 points and six rebounds to lead Colorado over Wyoming for its sixth straight victory.
Fate Fagan added 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers, for Colorado (9-1). The Buffalos defeated Wyoming for the 13th consecutive time.
Ashley Elliot led Wyoming (1-7) with 12 points.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Caton Hill scored 15 points and Maria Villarroel had 12, leading Oklahoma over Illinois.
Laura Andrews added 11 points for the Sooners (9-1), who overcame a 32-28 halftime deficit.
Angelina Williams scored 19 points and Aminata Yanni added 14 for Illinois (5-5).

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Ieva Kublina scored a career-high 25 points and Erin Gibson had 14 points and 16 rebounds, lifting Virginia Tech over Furman in the first round of the Virginia Lottery Lady Luck Classic.
Carrie Mason also scored 14 points for the Hokies (9-0), who play Wake Forest in the championship game Monday.
Tommi Paris led the Paladins (3-5) with 14 points.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Kim Smith went 3-for-3 from 3-point range and scored 15 points, helping Utah defeat Northern Arizona.
The Utes (8-3) took control by opening the second half with a 15-6 spurt to take a 43-24 lead with 15:25 left.
Carley Marshall and Kelsy Stireman each had 13 points for Utah.
Alyssa Wahl scored 16 points to lead the Lumberjacks (5-3).

BOSTON -- Amber Jacobs scored a season-high 26 points to lead Boston College to an easy victory over UNC-Greensboro.
Brooke Queenan added 17 points and Lisa Macchia 15 for the Eagles (9-1), who improved the best start in school history and gave coach Cathy Inglese her 300th win.
Amanda Eaton scored 18 points for the Spartans (2-8). The loss spoiled coach Lynne Agee's bid for her 500th win.
