Sean Logan seeks second term in 2005

LISBON -- Columbiana County Commissioner Sean Logan is seeking a second term.
Logan, 37, filed a nominating petition Tuesday with the county elections board.
He will be running as a Democrat in the March primary for the Jan. 2, 2005, commissioner seat.
So far, Logan is the only person of either party to file for the post, to which he was elected in November 2000.
Filing deadline for the primary is Jan. 2.
"I believe that I have proven to be an effective leader in county government and would appreciate the opportunity to continue to make a difference," Logan said in a prepared statement.
Logan previously served 10 years in the Ohio House of Representatives, leaving the Legislature as a result of term limits.
Besides his duties as commissioner, Logan is vice chairman of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio's Legislative Affairs Committee.
He also has been reappointed to a second term on the 17-member, statewide Solid Waste Advisory Council.
Logan, of Salineville, is married and has two children.
