TRUMBULL COUNTY Tree disposal

The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District has awarded several communities grants for Christmas tree collection and recycling programs. Here are times and locations:
Howland Public Works Department: 3600 N. River Road, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays, Jan. 5-16.
Hubbard Township Road Department: 2600 Elmwood Drive (inside fence), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week, Friday-Jan. 31.
Newton Falls Administration Building: 4410 Newton Falls-Bailey Road, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, Friday-Jan. 18.
McDonald garage: 200 W. Second St., 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, Dec. 26-Jan. 12. Village residents will have curbside pickup Dec. 29 and Jan. 2, 5 and 12.
Cortland Service Department: Willow Park, 184 Willow St., 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., seven days a week, Jan. 1-19.
W.D. Packard Music Hall parking lot: 1703 Mahoning Ave., Warren, 24 hours, seven days a week, Friday-Jan. 17.
