WARREN Stabbing suspect turns self in



WARREN -- A city man is in Trumbull County jail after surrendering at the police station in the fatal stabbing of Marciel Daniels, 20, who died Friday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Calvin Clark III, 20, of Fifth Street Southwest, came to the police station at 3:30 p.m. Friday, police said. He was charged in a warrant with one count of murder and two counts of felonious assault, and he'll make an initial appearance Monday in Warren Municipal Court.
The stabbing occurred in the 1100 block of Palmyra Road Southwest shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday. Daniels and his brother, Melzia, 22, told police they were stabbed by a man they knew.
Police found the Danielses at St. Joseph Health Center's minor care center on Tod Avenue Northwest. Marciel Daniels was taken by ambulance to Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital and flown by helicopter to St. Elizabeth. Melzia Daniels was treated at TMH. The Danielses were listed on police reports as Orange Court residents.
Police reports don't identify the instrument used in the stabbing or mention a motive. The Mahoning County Coroner's Office is investigating. An autopsy on Marciel Daniels was performed Friday. Detective Sgt. Charles Sines is the lead investigator.
