FASHION Q AND A

Q: My mother recently started using a walker. It helps her get around more easily, but she has a problem dealing with her handbag. If she wears it over one shoulder, it slips off, and if she wears it across her chest, it dangles in front of her and bumps against the walker. I've tried tying it to the walker frame, but this is really cumbersome, and she is not flexible enough to deal with a backpack. Any suggestions?
A: Several companies make walker bags, which attach to standard walkers. Among the most stylish are those offered by Lone Star Gift Solutions. Made of sturdy but lightweight polyester, they come in navy or red, with cheery check or polka-dot linings. They're large enough to tote personal items, cell phones and reading materials, and have zippered security pockets. The company also makes a smaller purse that attaches to a walking cane.
The items sell for $39.95 (plus $9.95 for shipping). To order, call (877) 748-9693 or visit lonestargiftsolutions.com.
Q: Do you have any information about a new sports bra designed by Anna Kournikova, the lovely blond tennis star?
A: The Anna Kournikova Multiway Sports Bra by Shock Absorber was designed for the tennis player, not by her. It is styled with seamless cups, wide straps and an X-back, in sizes 32-B through 38-E. Available at amazon.com/apparel, it comes in just one color: classic tennis white.
