XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Shelly Shook and Charles Colucci, both of Canfield, was solemnized by Monsignor Michael Cariglio during a 3 p.m. ceremony that took place Nov. 8 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
The daughter of Roy Jr. and Karen Shook of Berlin Center and the son of Charles and Karen Colucci of Boardman were honored at a reception held at the Byzantine Center at the Grove before leaving for a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando. They live in Canfield.
The bride's strapless pearl-colored gown was enhanced with lace, pearls and sequins.
Breeze-blue gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Sherry Pater of Boardman, and the bridesmaids, Shannon Shugart, Boardman; Dusty Popovich, Pittsburgh; Robyn Biery, Salem; Tina Vancise, Beloit; Tina Delsignore, Boardman; and Nicole Pascarilla, Berlin Center. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Brooke Pater, Boardman.
Steve Colucci of Boardman performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Cris Ruiz, Austintown; Bob Magnuson, Canfield; Dan Galich, Detroit; Kevin Lacivita, Port St. Joe, Fla.; Ryan Nespeca, Boardman; and the bride's brother, Roy Shook, Berlin Center. Ring bearer was the bride's son, Anthony Fusillo, Canfield.
The bride is a trackwork estimator with the L.B. Foster Co. in Niles. The groom, a sergeant with the Canfield Police Department, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's in police management.
