Goodyear, Steelworkers to vote on contract
CINCINNATI -- Struggling Goodyear Tire & amp; Rubber Co. and the United Steelworkers of America have agreed to a tentative three-year contract that is likely to prevent a strike. The union said Wednesday its members must vote on the contract before it is ratified.

WARREN -- The National Labor Relations Board will conduct a union representation vote Friday for 212 hourly production and maintenance workers at Alcoa-Excel Extrusions in Warren. The International Union of Electrical Workers-Communication Workers of America has been conducting an organizational campaign at the plant since June 20.
Bank board of directors
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- F.N.B. Corp. has named veteran banking industry executive Robert B. Goldstein to its board of directors.
Goldstein is the chairman and former chief executive of Bay View Capital Corp., a bank holding company in San Mateo, California. He previously held key management positions at several other banks.
F.N.B. is the parent company of First National Bank of Pennsylvania. It is adding to its board as it splits into two companies, with one based in Hermitage and the other in Naples, Fla.
OSU medical school is Incubator tenant client
YOUNGSTOWN -- Turning Technologies, a tenant of the Youngstown Business Incubator, has signed Ohio State University's medical school as a client.
A 420-seat licensing agreement calls for Turning Technologies to provide technology for laptop computers given to each student.
A wireless response system will allow for a range of interactive classroom activities, including testing, surveying and case study examinations.
The company also provides software for Columbia, Notre Dame, Purdue, Loyola, the University of California and Youngstown State University.
