Rain doesn't dampen spirits as music plays

Tuesday, August 19, 2003

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra performs at Cafaro Field in Niles for Pops at the Ballpark 2003. The orchestra was led Saturday by conductor Carl Topilow. Topilow, left, also played the clarinet during portions of the performance, which was hampered briefly by rain. One of the orchestra's violinists, right, shrugged off the droplets as she held an umbrella to keep her instrument and herself dry.
