ROUNDUP Chaney sweeps Timken, now 13-2

Mike Conroy hit a game-winning grand slam for Niles.
CANTON -- Strong pitching and 18 hits carried the Chaney High School baseball team to a 5-1, 5-0 sweep of Canton Timken Thursday.
Dave Baco (2-0) threw a three-hitter with no walks and six strikeouts in the opener for the Cowboys (13-2).
Tom Enyeart (2-1) pitched a four-hitter with just two walks and eight strikeouts in the nightcap.
Chaney has won six in a row.
Chris Hlinka finished 5-for-7 on the day with two doubles in the first game.
Dan Balog also went 3-for-3 with a pair of two-base hits in the opener.
Mike DeNiro doubled twice and added a single in the nightcap.
The games did not count in the City Series standings.
Niles 7, Liberty 4
NILES -- Mike Conroy hit a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Red Dragons (8-7).
Conroy finished with three hits and five RBIs.
Joe Lopez had a homer and single for the Leopards, who led 4-0 in the third.
Boardman 8, St. Joes 1Greenbriar 5, Boardman 2
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Josh Susany (1-1) pitched a complete-game two-hitter with 15 strikeouts for the Spartans (8-6) against St. Joes.
Tom Zetts had four of the 10 Boardman hits and five RBIs in the win.
Louisville 4, West Branch 0
BELOIT -- Nick Vernon threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts for Louisville.
Tom Orlando had two singles for the Warriors.
Salem 8, East Liverpool 3
SALEM -- Travis Milliron pitched his second complete game of the season and Lance Buckley hit his first home run for Salem.
Milliron (2-1) scattered seven hits, while Jarin Heath had two hits including a double, for the Quakers (7-7).
East Liverpool (4-13) got doubles from Tom Price and Dan Suznevich.
Campbell 10, Springfield 3
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Red Devils scored three runs in both the third and fourth innings.
Winning pitcher Mark Such (1-0) scattered five hits, with seven strikeouts and he hit a double, single, scored twice and drove in a run.
Beaver Local 8, Wilson 0
YOUNGSTOWN -- Taylor Fox hit a triple and double for Beaver Local (11-4).
Kyle Lynch (2-0) worked four innings and struck out five to pick up the win.
He also hit a pair of singles.
