XCAMPBELL -- Thomas and Lauretta Cebula, 512 Sycamore Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Beth Anne Cebula, and Ernest L. Purnsley Jr., both of 134 N. Queens Court, Huntington, W.Va.
Parents of the future groom are Ernest Sr. and Juanita Purnsley, 627 Bessemer Circle, Fayetteville, N.C.
The bride-elect attended Youngstown State University and graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree in health and sport studies. She is an assistant general manager with International Sports Properties Inc. at Marshall University in Huntington and at Ohio University in Athens.
Her fiance, an assistant football coach at Marshall University, graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., with a bachelor's degree in social studies education.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. May 24 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Struthers. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
