Struthers balances attack in 32-6 win over Wilson

STRUTHERS -- The Struthers High football team scored all of its points in the first half of a 32-6 non-conference victory over visiting Woodrow Wilson on Saturday.
Dan Livesay ran for 77 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns and the Wildcats returned two interceptions for scores. Jim Moody returned a pick 1 yard for a touchdown, and Eric Anderson followed that with a 45-yard return.
Struthers (3-3), which has averaged 34 points in its last three games, will take a 1-0 Metro Athletic Conference record into its game Friday at state-ranked Canfield.
Struthers quarterback Tim Zetts completed 8-of-11 passes for 119 yards, with an interception. His top target was D.J. Aldish, who had three catches for 65 yards.
Wilson lost its sixth straight game.
Brookfield 40, Champion 21
CHAMPION -- Lou Scudere rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns and Julian Hayes showed his versatility in Brookfield's 40-21 Trumbull Athletic Conference victory over Champion on Friday.
Hayes scored a touchdown by rushing, receiving and passing. He totaled 112 yards on the ground for the Warriors (4-2, 2-1 Trumbull Athletic Conference).
Champion is 2-4, 0-3.
