PREP SOCCER Fitch's Harris scores late goal as Falcons remain undefeated

Four different players scored for Champion in a win over Niles.
AUSTINTOWN -- Dina Harris scored a goal with 5:46 left to give Austintown Fitch a 1-1 tie against Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary Saturday afternoon at Falcon Stadium.
Mia Wood had given the Irish a 1-0 lead with a goal at 8:43 of the first half.
Fitch (6-0-3) goalie Alison Chasko had nine saves.
St. Vincent-St. Mary (6-3-2) goalie Britni Bunnell had 15 saves.
Champion 4, Niles 1
NILES -- Carlie Dawson, Jenna Lee, Christa Anbamasarin and Danielle Bafunno scored goals Saturday as the Champion High girls soccer team defeated Niles, 4-1.
Anbamasarin, Jamie Granata, Lindsay Haines and Kate Gintert had assists for the Golden Flashes (6-2-1).
Champion keepers Liz Wood and Jes Wood made nine and three saves, respectively.
Erin Kelly scored on an assist from Sarah Kerns for Niles (3-7). Red Dragons' keeper Stephanie Parish made 13 saves.
Girard 9, Conneaut 1
GIRARD -- Senior Jenny Sopkovich had three goals and two assists for Girard (3-5-1).
Jenna Chismark added two goals and Heather Martin and Krista Kirkpatrick each had a goal and an assist.
Sara Revella and Gina Bianco also had goals and Leah Ness and Megan Carlson had assists for the Indians. Robin Heugel had six saves.
Amber Rapose scored Conneaut's goal.
Boys
COLUMBIANA -- Barry Kimpel scored six goals, as Columbiana defeated Canton Timken 10-0.
Also scoring for the Clippers (10-1) were Eric Birnesser, Ryan Schmidt, Exe Martinez Taylor and Brad Bancroft.
Schmidt had two assists while Taylor, Birnesser, Corey Weaver, Deric Graft and Alex Heintzelman had one each.
Clippers keeper David Dramer made seven saves.
Mercer 3, Kennedy Catholic 2
MERCER -- Mike Sankey scored two goals and Zach Ryan the game winner. Tony Zigo, Jamie Kelley and Jonah Creagy had assists.
Keeper Kelby McClelland made five saves.
For Kennedy, Paul Graves and Mark DiMario scored goals and keeper Jake Dodd made nine saves.
