BANKING
BOARDMAN -- Rocky Page has joined the staff of First Place Bank as a regional sales manager in the Boardman office. Page has 12 years of experience in mortgage origination in the local market and closed 265 loans for about $27.3 million in 2001.
ADVERTISING
AUSTINTOWN -- Patricia J. Springer, an Austintown resident, has been named advertising director of Patio Enclosures Inc., a Macedonia, Ohio-based company with 42 locations in the United States and Canada. A former vice president and account manager for Winner Advertising in Sharon, Pa., Springer has more than 20 years of national ad agency experience. She has a bachelor's degree in English and journalism from Youngstown State University where she has also taken graduate courses in Education and Business.
HEALTH CARE
BOARDMAN -- Suzanne Rich, a registered nurse, has joined Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services as the Assistant Director of Nursing at its Boardman campus. Previously, Rich worked for Briarfield Manor in Austintown and Baptist Homes in Pittsburgh. An Austintown resident, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing.
PHARMACY
CANFIELD -- Michael E. Fusek III, a Canfield native, has accepted a position as a pharmacist at a Rite Aid store in Canton. A 1997 Canfield High School graduate, he has a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University. Fusek had been a pharmacy technician at Lease Drug Store in Salem, and he completed clinical internships at Leesburg Medical Center in Leesburg, Fla., and at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
SALES
Judith Kachmar of Austintown and Shelley Murray of Youngstown recently became consultants for Tastefully Simple, Inc., a national direct sales company based in Alexandria, Minn. Representatives conduct in-home presentations of gourmet foods.
