Summary of police activity:
CANFIELD
Sept. 9
Criminal damage: A 1995 Grand Prix was damaged at Vintage Auto Sales, 490 W. Main St. Three holes were made in the windshield and there was a dent in the roof. A juvenile was a suspect but no charges were filed.
Sept. 10
Theft: A total of $78 in quarters was missing from a coin-operated machine and a cut-down $5 bill was found at SuperWash, 44 Cardinal Drive. The company reported suffering similar thefts in the past.
Theft: A wireless cell phone was reported missing from a locker at Canfield High School.
AUSTINTOWN
Sept. 8
Theft: The front Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Sept. 9
Drug abuse: A male suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana at the intersection of South Raccoon Road and Kerrybrook Drive.
Theft: A flagpole was reported stolen from an apartment resident in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Two juveniles were arrested for taking cigarettes from Colla's Market, 5529 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft from auto: A Fossil wristwatch was stolen from an auto in the 500 block of Boulder Creek Drive.
Theft: A $5,135 money order was cashed and a suspect is an employee at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Avenue.
Sept. 10
Warrant: A male suspect was arrested in Newton Falls and picked up from that police department by Austintown police on a Mahoning County Court bench warrant for failure to appear, domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
Theft: Cosmetics were reported stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., by three female juveniles.
Aggravated robbery: A victim was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Felonious assault: A woman was assaulted by another female with a wrench in the 300 block of Canfield Road.
Sept. 11
Destroyed animal: A raccoon was reported destroyed in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.
Dangerous drugs: A male suspect was arrested on a Liberty Township traffic warrant and then charged with possession of dangerous drugs.
Sept. 12
Aggravated menacing: The president of Team Office, 118 N. Canfield-Niles Road was received a threatening letter.
Theft: A purse with a cell phone, credit cards and cash from a unlocked vehicle were reported stolen from Resurrection Cemetery, 300 North Raccoon Road.
Theft: A check was cashed by an employee at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damage: Several unidentified people caused damage at Adams Appliance, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered and damaged inside in the residential 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Theft: Diesel fuel was reported stolen from Fuel Mart, 5601 Seventy-Six Drive.
Sept. 13
Breaking and entering: A fenced-in area was entered and a shed and vehicle were broken into at RPM, 3698 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A National City MAC card was used for a theft in the 1600 block of Moorefield Avenue.
Warrant: A woman was arrested on a Youngstown warrant for assault at New Road and Edinburgh Drive.
Identity theft: Two female names and Social Security numbers were used to establish electrical service in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.
Theft: A work van was broken into and power tools were taken from Perkins Restaurant parking lot, 5550 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: An ATM card and was stolen from an account at the 717 Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A suspect was paid for services but refused to perform them in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.
Drug offense: Police accused two juveniles of sniffing inhalants at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Avenue.
Sept. 14
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia and a woman was arrested on a Mahoning County warrant for probation violation at the EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Warrant: A bench warrant was issued for a woman for failure to appear in Mahoning County Court here on a charge of having no dog license. She was arrested and placed in Mahoning County Jail.
Theft: A 20-inch bicycle was stolen from the 3000 block of Hamman Drive.
Theft: A Kenwood AM/FM CD player and several CDs were taken from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.
Theft: Two backpacks and their contents were reported stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A wallet and its contents were stolen from the Pink Elephant, 6135 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Mail was reported stolen by four juveniles in the 4000 block of Norquest Blvd.
Theft: A CD player and 60 CDs were stolen from an auto parked on Johnathan Lane.
Attempted burglary: The screen was pried open on a residence in the 500 block of London Drive.
Sept. 15
Theft: Two hubcaps and a latch to a trailer hitch were stolen from an auto in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was rolled over on its roof at King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning
Bomb threat: A threat was reported at Infocision, 5740 Interstate Blvd.
Assault: A summons was issued in an assault on a man in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Criminal damage: A basement window was shattered on a house in the 2000 block of Meridian Road.
