NILES -- The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bennett, 804 Reno St., was celebrated at a family dinner Sept. 8 at Old Country Buffet.
Mr. Bennett and the former Ina Butcher were married Sept. 11, 1942, in Baltimore. They are the parents of Richard Bennett of Niles; Danny Bennett of Virginia Beach, Va.; Sharon Felger of East Palestine; Roger Bennett of Niles; David Bennett of Niles; Randy Bennett of Niles; and Bobby Bennett of Youngstown. Eleven grandchildren complete their family.
Mrs. Bennett is a homemaker. Her husband served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired Feb. 15, 1976, from U.S. Steel McDonald Mill in McDonald where he was a laborer.
