YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. James William Jones accepted congratulations during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Mill Creek Park after their wedding Aug. 9. The Rev. Gerald Fennell officiated for the former Candice Marie Ungaro and Mr. Jones during 5 p.m. ceremony at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Parents of the newlyweds are Patrick and Theresa Ungaro of Youngstown and James and Cathy Jones of New Kensington, Pa.
The bride wore a sleeveless white silk sheath gown styled with a fitted bodice and adorned with pearls and bugle beads.
Sage-green gowns were worn by Renee Ungaro, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and her cousins and bridesmaids, Lisa Kavanagh and Mary Kushner. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Melby, the groom's cousin. Flower girls were Sarah Melby, his cousin, and Gina Ungaro, the bride's niece.
Sharing the duties of best man were the groom's brothers, Chris and Justin Jones. Groomsmen were Eric and Sean Ungaro, the brothers of the bride. Ring bearer was Jacob Melby, the groom's cousin.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Mrs. Jones earned a master's degree in education and administration at Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa. She is a counselor at Turner Middle School, Warren.
The groom received a degree in environmental science at YSU where he is pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He is employed at Boardman Steel.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba and live in Liberty.
