Edible Art Collection
YOUNGSTOWN -- The American Heart Association's 13th annual Edible Art Collection will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Butler Institute of American Art. The event, open to the community, features exhibits of heart-healthy recipes by chefs representing area restaurants and businesses.
Guests have the opportunity talk to chefs who will share tips for preparing more healthful foods. Exhibitors include: Abruzzi's Cafe 422, The Avalon Inn, Austinwoods, Chapters Cafe, P.J. Snappers and the Winner Institute of Arts and Science. The Mocha House will provide an exhibit of flavored coffees, and a children's exhibit will feature a recipe from the AHA's Kids Cookbook.
A panel of judges will rate the exhibits, and guests will vote for the People's Choice Award.
