Oct. 21
Warrants: A 66-year-old Akron man was arrested on several felony charges, including theft by deception and criminal simulation.
Arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old Boardman man on one count of failure to appear in court to answer a charge of driving under a suspended license.
Theft: Two Warren women, ages 35 and 51, were arrested on a theft charge after an employee at Kaufmann's department store in the Southern Park Mall said they stole $323 worth of clothing.
Theft: An employee at Independent Radio Taxi Inc., 308 Federal Plaza West, Youngstown, reported a passenger left his vehicle without paying his fare.
Theft: A 20-inch silver cross necklace, a 24-inch gold necklace and a women's gold bracelet were stolen from the Newport News, 4017 Hillman Way.
Theft: Someone took a personal check from a residence in the 1900 block of Palo Verde Drive.
Threat: A man in the 100 block of Stadium Drive reported his former wife threatened him as they argued about custody of their children.
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Camero was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Maple Drive.

Credit-card fraud: An employee at Bell Enterprises, 1100 Doral Drive, reported being the victim of a credit-card fraud.
Possible theft: A woman reported her wallet missing from her purse while she shopped at Country Fair food store, 7465 South Ave.
Assault: A woman in the 1900 block of Mathews Road reported her former boyfriend assaulted her on two occasions.
Assault: A man in the 30 block of Beechwood Drive reported someone assaulted him while he stood outside his duplex.
Warrant: Police arrested a 20-year-old man on Southern Boulevard on a charge of trafficking in marijuana.
Arrest: A 35-year-old man was arrested on a charge of menacing by stalking after police found him in the victim's back yard in the 7300 block of Westview Drive.

Theft, criminal damaging: A citizen's band radio and a radar detector were removed from a vehicle, which had its windshield damaged, in the 5000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Theft, fraud: A woman in the 100 block of Shields Road reported several checks stolen from her residence, and that she found numerous fraudulent transactions on her credit card account.
Assault: A woman and her daughter reported someone slapped the girl and punched her in the stomach in the 7400 block of South Avenue.
Auto theft: A 1994 Honda Accord was stolen from the T.J. Maxx parking lot, 255 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Two yellow stand-up flood lights and a 200-foot extension cord were removed from a construction site at USA Concrete Specialists Inc., 6751 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Four sets of green scaffolding were stolen from a construction site at St. Elizabeth Health Center diagnostic center, 8401 Market St.
Bogus check: Someone wrote a check drawn on a closed account to pay for miscellaneous merchandise at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: An undetermined amount of merchandise was stolen from Kids 'R' Us, 317 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 600-watt amplifier, a compact disk case, 175 CDs and a vehicle's owner's manual were stolen from a car in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Washington Boulevard reported someone ransacked his wife's vehicle and stole a ring from it.

Arrest: Police arrested a 32-year-old Struthers man on a domestic violence charge.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle's rear windshield was damaged and a parking permit was removed while the car was in the Lowe's department store parking lot, 1100 Doral Drive.
Possible theft: An employee at Youngstown Buick Pontiac GMC Truck,7997 Market St., reported a dealership registration plate was lost or stolen off a demonstration vehicle.
Theft: A laptop computer was stolen from Alltel, 7206 Market St.
Arrest: A 17-year-old Boardman boy was arrested on a charge of failure to appear in juvenile court.
Theft: A $1,000 diamond gold earring was taken from the bathroom of a residence in the 1200 block of Redtail Hawk Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 48-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after an employee at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, said he saw the woman leave without paying for three packs of cigarettes.
Burglary: An undetermined amount of property was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Ridgefield Avenue.
Theft: A woman in the 7900 block of Hitchcock Road reported someone stole a black toy poodle from her vehicle in the 400 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Criminal damage: A woman reported someone tossed eggs at her husband's vehicle while it was parked in the 3900 block of Sylvia Lane.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 36-year-old Boardman man on a domestic violence charge after a Shadyside Drive woman said he assaulted her 13-year-old son.
Warrant: A 35-year-old Boardman man was arrested and charged with nonsupport of dependents.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle's passenger-side door window was damaged in the 4000 block of South Schenley Avenue.

Theft: An employee at Regis Hairstylists in the Southern Park Mall discovered $200 missing.
Stolen check: An employee at Seven-Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., reported a 42-year-old woman cashed a $300 stolen check on a closed account.
Assault: A woman in the 200 block of Melrose Avenue reported two boys threatened and assaulted her 14-year-old son.
Theft: A Lawton, Okla., man reported his diamond bracelet missing from his room while he stayed at the Days Inn, 8392 Market St.
Breaking and entering: Nothing was missing from a residence in the 6600 block of Appleridge Drive after someone broke into it.
Theft: A woman reported someone stole her purse while she worked at St. Luke Church school, 5225 South Ave.
Theft: Police arrested a 30-year-old East Liverpool man on a theft charge after an employee at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boadman-Poland Road, said she saw him conceal $210 worth of clothing.
Theft: Twenty black women's sweaters, 20 women's halter tops and 40 women's shirts were stolen from several display tables set up at The Limited in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a 15-year-old Poland boy on one charge each of public intoxication and obstructing official business.
Theft: Two vehicle registration forms and an insurance card were removed frm a vehicle in the 200 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old Youngstown woman on a criminal damage charge.
Drugs: After investigating a suspicious vehicle, police arrested a 16-year-old Boardman boy on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of suspected marijuana.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Sally Beauty Supply, 395 Boardman-Poland Road, and took an undetermined amount of money and an undetermined number of checks.
Theft: A cellular phone, a suitcoat, a tie tack, $15 in change and a vehicle's registration were stolen from a car parked at Salty Grog's, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal damage: A man in the 5900 block of Applecrest Drive reported someone smashed his glass patio table and knocked out a wood panel from his fence.
Criminal damage: Police arrested two 14-year-old Boardman boys on a criminal mischief charge after a man in the 6000 block of Glenridge Road said he saw them use an aluminum baseball bat to damage a street sign.

Domestic violence, criminal damaging: Police arrested a Boardman woman on a domestic violence charge after a man in the 7000 block of West Boulevard said she assaulted him. The victim also alleged she used a key to place numerous scratches on his car, causing $2,000 in damage.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's passenger-side door was damaged, a trunk lock was removed and $200 worth of paint damage was done to the car.
Arrest: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of complicity to theft.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported someone removed $217 from her wallet while she was at a Shell True North gas station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Oakley Avenue reported someone stole her purse from her vehicle while it was in her driveway.
Theft: Police arrested a 23-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after six designer coats were stolen from Dilliard's department store in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: A New Castle man reported someone assaulted him in the Kohl's department store parking lot, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: Police arrested a 16-year-old Canfield boy on an assault charge after a woman alleged he assaulted her son in the Taco Bell parking lot, 940 Boardman-Poland Road.

Vandalism: Several Island Drive and Johnston Place residents reported some male juveniles stole and smashed numerous Halloween pumpkins.
Attempted breaking and entering: A woman and her daughter in the 20 block of Edgewater Drive reported someone tried to break into a residence in the 800 block of North Main Street by kicking in a rear garage door.

Arrest: After stopping a vehicle near Clingan Road and U.S. Route 224 for displaying expired license plates, police arrested a 37-year-old Lowellville man on a charge of violating a protection order.
