Second National sellsbranches to Advance
WARREN -- Second National Bank intends to sell two branches in Steubenville to Advance Financial Savings Bank of Wellsburg, W.Va.
Advance will assume $91.6 million in deposits and $135,000 in loans, if the deal is approved by regulators. Advance already has one branch in Steubenville, while Warren-based Second National said it is expanding in other areas.
Leadership workshops
YOUNGSTOWN -- Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley will receive funds raised from leadership workshops held Nov. 5 and 7.
Tony DeAscentis, president of Infinite Progress in Youngstown, will donate half of the $90 registration fee for his Steven Covey Workshops on those days to the agency. The workshops are from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Youngstown Business Incubator. DeAscentis is holding workshops through March. Call Junior Achievement or Infinite Progress for more information.
